Challenge
A major international player in the manufacturing sector with headquarters in Italy and subsidiaries abroad, as part of an internal digitization process, expressed the need to adopt a single treasury management system for the entire Group. The choice fell on Kyriba software, a world leader in cloud-based treasury and finance solutions.
This project enabled the client to achieve the goal of Global Visibility in a single HUB, i.e., centralized display of cash holdings for the entire group. The client was also able to centralize payments, significantly reducing manual activities.
Solution
With reference to the processes implemented on the Kyriba Cloud tool, we report:
- Core Data Management.
- Daily statement capture in various formats including MT940, NORMA43, CBI, BAI.
- Bank Accounting and Cash Reconciliation.
- In House Banking for the management of Cash Pooling and Intercompany loans.
- Cash Position reporting based on segregation of ACTUAL movements by company and nature of cash.
- Cash Forecast reporting based on the integration of the data recorded in the accounting system and with the possibility of manual input.
- Risk Management for the management of deposits and forex transactions.
- Domestic and international payment management via approval workflow usable from PC and Mobile.
- Integration with Swift Alliance Lite2.
- Business Intelligence reporting based on QLIK technology.
Risultati
- Optimization of global cash visibility by adopting a single centralized treasury system.
- Integrated reporting in a single HUB and usable via web url also from Mobile.
- Improved short-term liquidity monitoring processes through the activation of the Cash Management Module with BI component.
- Efficient financial management through the activation of the Risk Module.
