The first step in any change is to assess the impacts of the change.
To face a successful transformation path, there is no better and univocal approach, there are multiple factors to consider. Each reality is unique, as are its needs and challenges.
An initial phase of analysis represents an essential preparatory step for planning a successful transformation.

SAP Landscape – Roadmap to Cloud Infrastructure
Qintesi designs infrastructure solutions, a complete service that ensures the supervision of all relevant aspects: from the design of the architecture, to the sizing of individual components, to solutions for high reliability and disaster recovery.
SAP Cybersecurity Assessment
The SAP Security Assessment service offers a complete overview of the security level of the SAP architecture with evidence of any gaps with respect to the reference best practices.
The goal is to maximize security on critical functions to prevent unauthorized access together with the correct system configuration in order to reduce exposure to possible vulnerabilities.
The most common SAP security threats are:
System parameters configured incorrectly or completely missing;
IT critical permissions assigned to users in an extensive and uncontrolled way;
Business permissions assigned to users in an extensive and uncontrolled manner;
SAP standard users with unmodified default password;
RFCs that allow connection to the system from the outside or from other internal systems;
Custom code with vulnerability to external and backdoor attacks;
SAP Security Notes not implemented.
Our experience has led to the standardization of methodologies and logical security controls of an automatic, semi-automatic and manual nature relating to SAP systems (ABAP stack), in order to analyze the security status of the same and reduce their risks, optimizing their integrity and availability of the data.
At the end of the assessment phase, a complete report is released on the safety status of the SAP systems with respect to the best practices, with which the definition of the target safety level and the related corrective actions are represented.
Once the safety status has been reached, as required by SAP best practices in relation to business risks, it is necessary to automate the control activities also with the use of machine learning logics. Qintesi guarantees support in the implementation, in the use of the related SAP tools and in the definition of an ad-hoc remediation plan based on the specificities of the customer.
PNRR & Industry 4.0 Assessment
The European Funds are a unique opportunity for companies to mtake advantage of support programs in order to start the digital transformation process.
The occasion is made even more stimulating by the Next Generation Eu, which has the main objective of renewing the European industrial and production scenario, as well as stimulating economic recovery following the crisis. The Next Generation Eu is implemented in Italy through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), which has the main objective of facilitating public-private collaboration to finance projects of general interest.
Qintesi supports companies in identifying the most advantageous incentive form to finance application transformation projects, managing the subsequent forwarding procedure to the Competent Bodies.
