Challenge<\/h4>

The client, a holding company,\u00a0expressed the need to extend the financial instrument management and liquidity control model to its foreign subsidiary in order to:<\/p>

  • increase the level of automation and intelligence in some highly manual processes<\/li>
  • manage the group\u2019s portfolio of financial instruments in accordance with the LUX GAAP principles by strengthening the organization of accounting and disclosure processes<\/li>
  • equip themselves with a tool for monitoring financial investments and supporting decision-making processes<\/li><\/ul>

    Solution<\/h4>

    According to the requirements expressed and the objectives declared by the client, Qintesi proposed a design approach modulated in two phases.<\/p>

    In the\u00a0first phase<\/b>, lasting 2 months, the implementation of the\u00a0Treasury and Risk Management<\/b>\u00a0component for its foreign subsidiary was completed in relation to the financial instruments already managed in other group companies. The stated objectives have been pursued by carrying out improvements in the following areas:<\/p>

    • optimization of financial operations management processes<\/li>
    • increase in the level of automation in the reconciliation processes of bank transactions<\/li>
    • tracking of financial instruments in compliance with LUX GAAP requirements<\/li><\/ul>

      In this first project phase, the integration with banking counterparties was also completed for the automatic transmission of reporting flows to SAP.<\/p>

      In the\u00a0second phase\u00a0<\/b>of the project, the focus of implementation activities was aimed at the introduction of\u00a0new financial instruments<\/b>\u00a0in the group model and the development of\u00a0regulatory and management reporting<\/b>\u00a0in order to:<\/p>

      • consolidate the solution of financial instruments management in compliance with LUX GAAP requirements<\/li>
      • increase the level of efficiency of disclosure processes<\/li>
