  • How we use and protect collected data

Qintesi collects the personal data of customers, business contacts, website users and candidates. The following table describes the categories of data we collect, their purposes and the legal basis of the processing and the retention period.

In particular, Qintesi collects personal identification and contact data, such as name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number. The provision of personal identification and contact data takes place through direct acquisition by the interested party, for the purposes of forwarding requests for information to QINTESI through the contact forms present on the site (for example in the field of job selection and recruitment) or for the release or access to multimedia contents (videos, articles, etc.) or for the subscription to the QINTESI newsletter.

The legal basis of the processing is represented by the consent of the interested party.

Qintesi also collects information on the profession and on employment, the company to which they belong and the role covered by the interested party by direct conferment by the interested party. These data are acquired in particular for the purpose of requesting and releasing videos and multimedia content available on the website.

As part of the “careers” section, the acquisition of the professional information of the interested party is envisaged, also by uploading the relevant curriculum vitae. The provision of information relating to the profession and occupation takes place through the direct acquisition of the interested party, for the purpose of releasing or accessing multimedia content present on the site or within the context of the job selection and recruitment process within the “careers” section of the QINTESI website.

The legal basis of the processing is represented by the consent of the interested party.

Finally, QINTESI also uses cookies from third parties to acquire the information necessary and/or useful to ensure the operation and provision of its web services. The use of Cookies – or other similar tracking tools – by QINTESI also through third-party services present within the website responds to the purpose of monitoring the use of the website and the applications connected to it by of users and carry out analyzes to ensure continuity of supply and improvement of QINTESI services.

In the case of cookies not strictly necessary for the operation of web services, their use is based on the prior and explicit consent of the interested party.


  • In particular: data processing for marketing purposes and consent of the interested party

Qintesi acquires the personal identification and contact data of the interested party through direct conferment and prior express consent. These data are processed for promotional marketing purposes and in particular:

    • Direct marketing: sending commercial communications relating to services and products, events and webinars of Qintesi S.p.A. through automated and traditional methods of contact, as well as carrying out related market studies and statistical analysis;
    • Profiled marketing: analysis of user preferences, habits, behaviors, interests, for the purpose of carrying out targeted commercial and business intelligence actions;
    • Marketing by third parties: sending commercial communications relating to offers of services/products, reporting of corporate events and carrying out statistical analysis by third parties (SAP Italy) with respect to the Data Controller;

the interested party has the right to lend, modify, withdraw consent to the processing of personal data in relation to the purposes indicated, even individually considered, through a dedicated panel for the management of consent.


  • Where we process personal data

The data processing is carried out by delegated subjects of the treatment, in particular by External Data Processors and Managers, IT System Administrators who operate on a specific appointment determined by written deed by the Data Controller, with a commitment to maximum confidentiality and not to disclose the data to third parties without specific authorization. The list of their names is provided at the request of the interested party.

The data may be transferred to third parties within the EU, with particular reference to professional and employment information in order to achieve the processing purposes described in this statement.

The Data are stored within the European Union and processed for the time necessary to perform the service requested by the User, or required by the purposes described in this document, and the User can always request the interruption of the treatment or the cancellation of data. 


  • The rights in relation to the processing of personal data

Qintesi protects the rights of interested parties in relation to the processing of personal data provided by them. In particular, Qintesi ensures and guarantees the exercise of the following rights provided for by EU Reg. 2016/679 (“G.D.P.R.”):

    • Right of access and copy (Article 15 of EU Reg. 2016/679): to know at any time the effective implementation of a data processing and in particular the purposes of the processing, the categories of data, the recipients to whom they have been or will be communicated, the retention period, the information available about their origin and acquisition if the data are not collected or conferred directly by the interested party, the existence of any automated processing and profiling process, the guarantees and methods of a possible transfer of data to a third country or to an international organization pursuant to art. 46 EU Reg. 2016/679. Obtain a copy of the data, possibly with a charge for the relative costs for multiple requests.
    • Right of rectification and cancellation (Articles 16 and 17 EU Reg. 2016/679): to obtain the correction or integration of inaccurate personal data, as well as the cancellation of data without undue delay, with limitation of processing pending the investigation.
    • Right to data portability (Article 20 EU Reg. 2016/679): to obtain personal data in intelligible format, including telematic, or transmission to another data controller without hindrance except for reasons of technical and objective impossibility.
    • Right of opposition and withdrawal of consent (articles 7 and 21 EU Reg. 2016/679): to oppose and withdraw consent at any time to the processing of data, without prejudice to the existence of legitimate reasons overriding the interests, rights and freedoms of the interested as for the assessment, exercise or defense in court.
    • Right of complaint to the supervisory authority (Article 77 EU Reg. 2016/679): to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in case of violation of the related provisions.
    • Right to compensation for damage (Article 82 of EU Reg. 2016/679): to obtain compensation for damage in accordance with art. 82 EU Reg. 2016/679.
    • Right to notification of data breaches (Article 34 EU Reg. 2016/679): if the breach of personal data presents a high risk for the rights and freedoms of individuals, without undue delay.
